PROHIBITION

Prohibition was a period of nearly fourteen years of U.S. history in which the manufacture, sale, and transportation of liquor was made illegal. It led to the first and only time an Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was repealed.

The Temperance movement blamed alcohol for many of society's ills, especially crime and murder. Prohibition, members of the Temperance movement urged, would stop husbands from spending all the family income on alcohol and prevent accidents in the workplace caused by workers who drank during lunch.

During the 1920's Jazz was very popular. We listened to big time artist such as Duke Ellington, and Louis Armstrong. Jazz Had Expanded alot in New York after being so huge in Harlem.

Me & Jordan

Me and Jordan first meet at the Buchanan's, where I feel if she is a cold, emotionless woman. But, as Life went on I fell in love with her. But When I find out the dishonest side of Jordan from hearing that Jordan cheated on a golf tournament, I started to grow doubt towards Jordan. Then I became disgusted by Jordan when I found out Jordan was dating another Man because I did not see Jordan for a long time.  Basically we end our love. :(

The Gatsby Party

Eventhough Gatsby was very rich and wealthy I can sense that he was lonely. He would throw parties here and there. Ther would be so many people at his almost all white mansion, even if they were not invited.There  would be many drunks and sometimes you wouldnt even see Gatsby its like all he really wanted was company. When I finally got the chance to meet Gatsby I realized he was very relaxed and organized with life.
